This handcrafted garden cottage shed was designed to complement the charm and style of a beautifully landscaped suburban garden in Preston, Lancashire. The brief was to create a structure that would not only provide functional storage but also serve as a focal point with cottage-like aesthetics. Attention to detail was essential — from the scalloped roof trim to the cross-braced door and window features.

The build includes a framed porch entrance, decorative canopy, and softwood cladding treated for longevity. Decorative elements such as a rustic door wreath, picket-style railing, and faux cottage window curtain were added to give the shed a quaint, welcoming appearance. A perfect fusion of functionality and character.
