This project involved the construction of a durable, open-front timber agricultural shelter located in Hest Bank, Cumbria. Designed to provide protection from the elements while allowing full ventilation and easy access, the structure was elevated on steel supports for optimal ground clearance. It features three open bays framed with treated timber, half-height OSB wall panels, and corrugated roofing with integrated skylights for natural light. The brief required a practical, low-maintenance structure suitable for agricultural storage or animal sheltering, blending into its rural surroundings while maximising internal space and resilience to Cumbrian weather.
