Gothic Arch Garden Arbour Bench

Design Brief:
The client wanted a statement piece for their garden that would provide comfortable, weather-protected seating while blending beautifully into their natural surroundings. The brief called for a handmade arbour-style bench with a distinctive arched roof, evoking a church or chapel silhouette, and offering year-round functionality.

The finished piece was designed and built entirely from scratch using pressure-treated timber, featuring:

A tall, curved gothic-style roof for striking aesthetics and rain protection

Slatted backrest and seat for breathability and comfort

Framed side panels for added wind shielding and structural support

A naturally unfinished timber look, ready for optional staining or treatment

Robust joinery for long-term outdoor use
