A real showpiece: an open-sided timber shelter housing a full outdoor kitchen, built to be used through the seasons. A bold asymmetric roofline (one short steep slope, one long sweeping pitch in slate-effect tiles) sits on an exposed timber post-and-truss frame, with dry-stone masonry bases topped in honed slate forming the worktops. A gas BBQ, pellet smoker and pizza oven, wall heaters and festoon lighting complete a sheltered cook-and-entertain space that blends into its Cumbrian setting.
